Jess
Rosie 9-3-08.JPG (click to enlarge)
Our little black beauty was known as Rosie when we first met her. She had been through a hard time after her previous owner died and had been pushed from pillar to post. She was so friendly and laid back, though, when we visited her in her foster home that we couldn't resist her.
The day we brought her home she was very shy and spent most of the time behind the sofa, sneaking out when we left the room and shooting back there when we went back in. By the second day, though, she had found her feet and chosen her favourite chair. It was then we decided she was too cheeky to be a Rosie and changed her name to Jess. Since then she has become queen of the house and is well on the way to becoming queen of the neighbourhood, venturing a little further down the garden each day. She really is a little love and we can't imagine being without her now. She's part of the family.
Bella

Hello,Bella here I am sure from the picture you will remember me. I am very happy in my new home after a bit of a worrying couple of hours, which I spent behind the HiFi shelf in a cupboard, very handy it was too so I could suss out my new friend Andy. Who when I got braver and came out to investigate had a bowl of Felix waiting for me a lovely fresh litter tray, and all the toys a pussy cat could want and every time he goes out more toys come home its great. I might actually play with them soon! I don’t often have time for playing with toys now because I have a lovely big bed to sleep on! If I not sleeping or nibbling I like to spend a lot of the time looking out the window at the birdies. Although I do try to be brave I do get scared still, mainly carrier bags, doors shutting any unexpected noises really but I am getting more confident. Everyone who has come round to see me (or Andy) has said how beautiful I am even Andy’s mum who doesn’t like cats told me and stroked me!
Andy says to tell you that, I have made coming to terms with his Olive passing on a lot easier because I have given him cuddles and looked after him, when he looks at her picture and knows he did the right thing for her by letting her go.
Anyway I have to go now as I have finished dictating now because paws are quite tricky to type with, saying that I did give it a go and the keyboard made a funny noise when I stamped on it! So just to say thank you to Donna (apologies if wrong name Andy’s not good on them, cant get the staff) for looking after me and lots of love and licks to everyone. I have attached a picture of me on my bed for you too see too.
Love Bella (formerly Beattie) and email typed by Andy!
PS. Thanks to everyone at Bristol and Wales Cat rescue who put up with my emails just before I picked up Bella with all my questions. Wouldn’t be without her now. Thanks Andy

When my mum came back from seeing "jasper" she told me how nice he was, i was so excited that we might be getting a new cat. The next day my mum went to Lesley's and brought him home, when she got here with the cat i was so happy, he was just so cute! My little sister Florence loved him too, she decided to name him Justin or Mr Tumble after her favorite tv program! We've now had him for nearly a week and he is so funny, he's not as agile as a normal cat and he much more vocal than a normal cat! Never heard one like him! But he is the best cat we could've got! So cute and loving to everyone. I am so glad we got him, and i cant imagine what it would be like without him. Hes the best! This is a picture of my little sister Florence with Justin. Thank you so much, Olivia! x

This is just to let you know that Lily and Velma have settled in so well since we brought them home on Thursday evening. They are both so loving and affectionate, and Velma has amazed us by being so friendly when we were expecting her to be quite shy and to take a while to settle. This morning she was even following me around like a puppy, helping me do the washing up in the kitchen and even sitting on the edge of the bath with two feet on the sink whilst I was cleaning my teeth! Lily is very laid back and relaxed, even coping with three children fussing over her constantly! We are all over the moon with them and couldn't have asked for more.
Thank you so much.

Harry

Harry.jpeg (click to enlarge)
When Harry first arrived he spent the majority of his time under my bed and only came out at night, we were beginning to think he was a vampire. If he was about he was fine with the 3 of us but if anyone strange came into the house he would run and hide, so I left him to his own devices and after a few days the balance between him hiding under the bed and joining us shifted and he is now making his presence known. He adores my son Jack and much to my surprise spends most nights curled up on his bed which was an issue to start with as Jack isn’t used to sharing and I think Harry was hogging all his leg room however they seemed to have sorted themselves out now and most mornings they can be found having a conversation in his room.As his previous owner was ill I assume he is used to a quieter environment and coming to my mad house has been a bit of a shock however he has managed to introduce himself to the family and has been a hit with all of them even those who claim not to like cats (like my mother in law) has taken a shine to him. Pete spent Sunday fitting his new cat flap and after a lot of swearing and cursing succeeded so I’m looking forward for when Harry is able to use it.He also likes water and keeps jumping in the bath and sink after we’ve just used them, the other morning he followed Pete into the shower luckily he noticed him before turning the shower on. He has already paid his first visit to the vet for his vaccination which he was not impressed with but thankfully soon forgave me. I would like to thank you for allowing Harry to adopt us, we are over the moon with our new edition. His confidence is growing on a daily basis and his character is coming through more and more, rather than waiting for cuddles he now demands them as you can see from the photo attached I was trying to have a quiet five minutes with the paper – Harry had other ideas.
Thanks again.

Kitty

Picture 103.jpg (click to enlarge)
Just a quick up date Kitty is great and a real loveable girly kitten, we have all wasted so much time with the cuddles and her tractor like purr!! No one can go on the computer now without company
Kitty
Kitty cat 008.JPG (click to enlarge)
Just a short update of how Kitty is doing. She has slowly come out of her shell and seems much happier now she is in a home environment where she can lounge on the sofa and snuggle up on the bed. She has gone from being a shy quiet little cat to a contended (very spoilt) kitty who loves her cuddles and loves to talk to you.
We are so pleased to have given an older cat the loving home that she deserves, and I think she is just as pleased as we are!.
Nikki & Martin
Lovely little lady Lottie has at last found her forever loving home

Originally she was from Wales, she then spent about two weeks at the Bristol and Wales cat rescue centre before being adopted briefly, but, within a weekshe was back at the centre as the lady decided she did not have time to devote to her. Unfortunately on her return she was diagnosed with low grade flu, camplyobacter infection and she was suffering from stress so her next two weeks were spent in a foster home where her carer began nursing her back to good health. After a succession of e-mails, a letter of recommendation from our vet, and telephone calls, a viewing was arranged to visit her, and needless to say , undeterred by the existing problems Lottie was soon on her way home with us. As we already had six felines we had an area prepared for her so we could gradually introduce her to the rest of the family in easy stages. The first morning she popped her little head out of her igloo bed rather cautiously, but by the second morning she came to me and she allowed a tummy tickle. The first few days we were continuing giving her medication, her eating improved, her symptoms disappeared ,she met her new friends and she was soon investigating her new home quite confidently. Now at just over a year old she is very curious, energetic and has her own set of rules when playing, and thinks she owns the sofa. Lottie has had her vaccinations and our vet remarked on how good she is looking and has filled out nicely. We had recently suffered the sudden loss of a much loved puss and having Lottie has helped to ease the grief keeping us all busy. She is a typical Tortie with attitude, it is like she has been here forever and she was definitely meantto be part of our family. Many thanks for allowing us to adopt Lottie and especially a big thank you to Jo for all her care whilst she was fostering Lottie.
Alfie

Alfie has settled in very well. He has had his jabs and was allowed out a week last Friday. He has totally explored the house and garden. He goes into next door's garden on either side and that's about it.He climbs everything in sight. Last Sunday he was in the garden somewhere , we could hear him crying but could not see him until my eldest son spotted him up one of the oak trees at the end of the garden. He was about 25 feet up sitting on a branch and could not come down.I got a double tier ladder from the garage in order that I could climb up to retrieve him. However, he managed to leap onto another branch and climbed down.He torments the other two cats in a friendly way , he just wants to play with them.
I have managed to get some of the tangled fur off , he does not like to be touched down under.
Stitch

Here’s Stich in his new garden. He’s loving chasing the butterflies, and basking in the sunshine. He also loves the nearby field to run and play in!
When we lost our special boy, Degwyn in May of this year, we were heartbroken, and didn’t know which way to turn. I suggested getting another male cat, and gradually we decided to go for it and see some cats. One look at Stich, and I burst into tears. He had the same shaped face and a similar 'look' to our previous boy, and it was really love at first sight!
Stich has really turned our lives around, and given us hope again. It really feels good to love another cat, and Bristol & Wales have done such a great job in bringing him to us. We’re so happy with him!
He’s eating plenty, sleeping lots, and gives us lots of purrs and cuddles when we stroke him. Not yet a lap cat, as he’s so full of energy he’d rather explore every nook and cranny of his new home!
Had a funny story yesterday from next door. Apparently, he likes to climb on the neighbour's walls and taunt the little jack russell dog they have!! He's a cheeky boy, full of confidence and has already stamped his mark on his territory!

Bonnie and Clyde

Thank you so much for the last e mail. We were so pleased to hear that all is going well and you are able to get some nice homes for your foundlings! At last, Bonnie and Clyde have managed to get out into the garden. They absolutely love it and even though we worried about letting them out, they have been fine. They come and go through the cat flap like pro's now and love every minute of chasing each other around the garden. They are both excellent cats, very loving and very good. I have attached a picture of each of them. I am sure you wonder what happens to the cats that you rehome but I just want to put your mind at rest that they are both loved and very spoiled!
Henry
Hello, my name is Henry and when me and my two brothers first came to
live with my foster family I didn't really like them very much so
whenever they came into the room I would hiss at them and run and hide.
For a while I was known as 'Hissy Henry' but it can't have put them
off me because when my two brothers were adopted by a nice family my
fosterers decided to adopt me. As the weeks went by I became more and
more friendly with them and even started to purr when I was stroked.
I was introduced slowly to my new brother and 2 sisters but they didn't
like me very much at first, however, I managed to win them round and
now we are one big happy family. I love my big brother so much I
spend most of my time play fighting with him and can't wait till I'm
neutered and big enough to go outside hunting rabbits with him! As
you can see from my photograph I'm very happy and relaxed in my new
home and am making myself very comfortable.
Penny and Sophie

I just wanted to write to say thank you so much for looking after Sophie
and Penny and for letting me give them a home all the way over in
Oxfordshire!
They're settling in well and I've attached a few photographs in case you'd
like them for your rehoming page. As you can see, it was difficult to get
a photograph of both of them together, as they're too busy whizzing about
the garden to stay still for a photo op!
Sophie is reliving her kittenhood and has been climbing the curtains,
playing with the cat tree we made for her, getting stuck on top of the
fence (as she's too chicken to jump down) and pouncing on Penny at every
opportunity. Penny's taking it with good grace so far and is even relaxed
enough to play with Soph's toys from time to time, though Penny would
prefer a quiet life on the back of the sofa, given the choice.
Both cats are exploring our garden and the local area. Soph has a habit of
hiding in cupboards and getting shut in, so we're hoping she'll stay out
of the local garages in future. They're both affectionate cats and always
come to say hello when we get home, and they're both putting on a bit of
weight, though Soph will always be little. Penny gives the best
head-butts! Sophie is very bossy and is always stalking Penny around the
house, so we've nicknamed her the little furry monster. She answers to
that name too.
Thanks again for letting us give a home to this gorgeous pair!
Evie

Thought you may like to see a couple of photos of Evie whom is growing fast.
She is so sweet and ruined!

Bo and Buster

Hi my name is Buster (nee Matilda) and this is my sister Bojangles (nee Mr)!!!!
You may remember us as Ickle and Bickle?
We found our forever home 10 weeks ago when mum and dad came to pick us up from our foster home.
What a scary ride home.... We’re home now forever, so it was worth the wait.
For the past 9 weeks I have been ‘Tilly’ and ‘Bo’ my sister, was my brother – you can imagine the shock when the vet told mum I was a boy (he he).
Even though I am the biggest, it took a while to sink in..... I think she’s over it now, although, I am still Tilly sometimes !!
When we got home we met our big sister Fred (there’s a theme isn’t there!), she didn’t like us much and so mum and dad kept us apart for a while and let her get used to us bit by bit. We didn’t mind that she hissed, it was a matter of time before Bo won her over with her big amber eyes and soft nature.... I, on the other hand, prefer to chase her; a lot!!!!! She’s just about got used to us now but we still sleep apart, haven’t quite managed to infiltrate the bedroom; it’s only a matter of time.
We love our home, there’s lots of space to play, lots of toys; which apparently are ornaments but they look like toys to me. My favourite toy, other than the glass beads in the candle garden, comes out of a drawer every morning and involves mum chasing me to get the ‘pop socks’ back from me when she puts them on the bed for me to play with, it’s great fun, she plays for ages...... Bo is a good little girl, I’m apparently a little monkey?
We haven’t been outside to play yet we have to have another injection and then when we get a newt and a spade we should be ok?!
Until then we can distract ourselves with the aquarium, tormenting Fred, racing up the stairs, daredevil banister walking and hall floor surfing.
Here are pictures of me, Fred and Bo, Bo and me sleeping (she’s hugging me), Bo on her paw bed and me doing the daredevil banister walk because I am the coolest cat in Martock.
Thanks for taking time to read our update
Boo
hello,
just thought I'd let you know how well little Boo (Shadow) is fitting in. Hopefully he won't diconnect the internet whilst I type.
i nearly called on Monday as he he hadn't come out from underneath my wardrbe and didn't appear to have eaten or drunk anything but then I resorted to cat milk under the wardrobe with a little bit of food and gradually he decided to veture out. had first cuddle on Tuesday and haven't looked back. he had his second jab on thursday and purred the whole time.
he's eating happily and begun to explore the flat, running from room to room. he was even secure enough today to cope with my three year old nephew- and was happy darting backwards and forwards in front of him and even curled up on the floor within about a foot of him. I was so proud.
I've attached a couple of photos so you can see how relaxed he is.
Thanks for all your help,
Mungo and Orchard

Millie
Just wanted to write to you to tell you how much I love my new home. Since I arrived here I have not been poorly at all and I am very happy. Mostly I love sitting with my new mum and licking her. I love my bit of felt tied to a bit of elastic. Mum said it used to be a toy that made a funny noise but when she bought it for me I ripped it up within about 30 seconds so now it is just a bit of fluff - I love it all the same.
I have a smart collar with a disc with my name and phone number on it - it used to have a bell but that drove me mad so mummy took it off. I love going outside although mum does not let me stay out too long on my own. I escaped about a week ago and had a great time playing under next doors decking - I could hear mum walking around in the pouring rain calling my name for an hour, was a very funny game of hide and seek...her voice got a little frantic at times but I got a great big cuddle when she found me so I enjoyed myself!!
I am not allowed in the bedroom at night but I don't make a noise which allows mum to get some sleep. I am always waiting outside of the bedroom door in the morning and have found out that if I run very fast I can slide down the landing on the rug...it is great fun...mum does not seem to mind picking the rugs up every day and putting them back where they should be.
My magnetic cat flap arrived today and I am really looking forward to being able to go outside whenever I want. I always wait until I come back into the house to go to the toilet...mum sighs a lot when I do that but does not shout at me.
Just now mum and I are going to have a little sleep on the sofa...she puts her feet up and I stretch out on top of her...it is lovely.
Thank you so much for looking after me and finding me a forever home which I love so much.
Will let you know how I get on, would love to see you again if you are ever out this way.
All of my love.
Millie
Tiny and Crewe ![]() Just thought I'd send you a quick update on Tiny & Crewe who we picked up from Donna on Sunday...... Both cats are doing well and seem to have settled into life in Swindon. When we got home from Bristol Tiny was very confident and was straight out of her box as quick as a flash and was investigating her new home, Crewe was much more timid and took a couple of hours before he ventured out of the travel box and into the kitchen. After the first couple of hours Tiny became more timid and both cats were very shy for the first couple of days, but that said they were still both eating and drinking lots so we weren't too worried. Since then they have gone from strength to strength and are getting more confident each day, Crewe is enjoying lots of cuddles and Tiny has been helping warm our laps on a daily basis!! I've attached a few pictures for you, which I hope you enjoy. We are registered with a local vet now and the cats are off for their second vaccinations next week. Thanks so much for responding to my emails re cats, I have contacted a number of other rescue centres but found your website and your contacts the best! |
Polly-Jay

The little girl is settling in really well (see photo) and is an absolute delight, thank you so much for letting me have her!
Marlon

I just wanted to write to say thank you for letting me adopt Marlon. He is the most adorable little guy and has settled in very well. He has been purring almost constantly since I bought him home on Sunday. He loves his cuddles, especially having his tummy tickled and is not too fussy about who cuddles him as long as they do! He arrived home and immediately started to explore, found Sox's food bowl and just tucked in! Then he located the litter tray and must have spent a good 5 minutes there - you could almost hear the relief..... since then he has had great fun with his new toys (see pic)! He's such a great character and I'm so glad I found him!

Weighed Freya this morning and she has put on a bit of weight, not much, but in the right direction. Think she will just be small as she eats well, is very vocal and certainly doesnt take any nonsense from the boys. Surprisingly she is the only one that complains about the eye ointment and the only one who refused the food with the worming powder in it, took me lots of different ways of disguising it to get her to eat it, the boys didn't even notice. I'm taking these things as her being female and therefore showing more intelligence than the boys! I can also see she is going to be a total lap cat and the one most desperate to cuddle up to Summer at every opportunity.
Inka is going to be the naughty one, now he has got over his initial caution, he seemed very unsocialised where humans were concerned but I guess this was understandable after being left in a box in a layby. He is now bossy, demanding, very playful and thinks he is as big as Summer, running up to her sideways with his back arched, very comical considering the size he is. Unfortunately Summer doesn't seem to be as scared of him as he thinks his stance demands so he ends up just rubbing all round her face purring! He is just so funny to watch.
Dizzy is wonderful and yes he has grown so much. I renamed him but he is just so "dizzy" we decided to go back to the name you called him. He is known now as Dizzy Rascal and is such a lovely cat. He has bonded so well with me and just loves to be stroked and cuddled, ending up sleeping in the most ridiculous and uncomfortable looking positions. He has bonded very well with Summer too and the two of them can be seen wandering about together looking for more mischief to get into, true partners in crime!
Summer has been wonderful and, although only seven months old herself, seems to have taken over the role of mum at times. She licks them all on a regular basis and looks totally bemused but contented when they are all running in different directions, through her legs and jumping at her tail.
I think having them was a wonderful decision and thank you for all your help and guidance Margaret.
Denise

I’ve finally got round to getting this email off to you with a link to
some of my favourite photos of Olivia (which has now been shortened to
Olive!). It’s just over 5 weeks since I came on that Saturday night to
pick her up – and I just love having her here. She’s just gorgeous – a
really lovely nature, very gentle and sociable – and wants to meet
everyone who comes to visit. I had to use the Aureomycin for about 2 weeks
and she never complained or struggled once. But as you can see, her eye
is completely better. She got a bit bored being kept in of course, but
now she’s had all her vaccinations and was allowed out for the first time
on Saturday. That was a great success – see her on top of the grape vine!
– at least until the local big fluffy tortoiseshell decided to stroll
through the garden as usual. There was a noisy standoff until I shooed
the tortoiseshell away – and now Olive is a little more cautious about
going out! But I’m sure she’ll soon make her mark on her territory, even
though it’s not very inviting weather. And she’s so playful! Diving in
and out of the shower curtains is a good game and so is weaving in and out
of the vertical blinds. But of course the favourite toys are the simple
ones – the Habitat bag is regularly pounced on and she will play with a
ball of wool for ages – as long as I play too, of course.
And as for me – not a hint of allergy! So it is definitely possible to
lose it.
Thank you so much for rescuing and looking after Olive – and then for
letting me adopt her! If you’re ever over this way, please ring the
doorbell – we would both be delighted to see you.

Buster and Boomer, from Wales, changed to Biffa and Boffa once they crossed the bridge to Bristol.
They cried all the way from their carers to our house, climbed out their basket and within a few hours were happy to play with us. They slept okay at night and very soon felt like they’d been part of our family for ages. Hundreds of photos have been taken over the past 10 weeks, they play in the garden, climb trees, love watching the shower and run around the house jumping on everything, including us. They love the computer and moving images. It’s impossible trying to discipline them as they look so lovely and when they want to stop often sit on the stairs – looking like cats on a naughty step.
The vet really likes them, good job when Biffa was poisoned, probably from eating a plant in the garden and became very quickly very ill, as his mum, I stayed up all night and was so relieved when after 12 hours he stood up and walked – phew. Like children, within a further 24 hours he was running around causing chaos.
Despite being brothers they have their own personalities, Biffa loves having his tummy rubbed and being cuddled by anyone. When Boffa is picked up his right ear goes back, and he prefers to make you wait until he wants to be cuddled. Boffa eats for England and Biffa is more fussy.
We have so much admiration for all the volunteers at the Bristol and Wales cat rescue for their hard work and love of felines and thank them so much for our boys.
Happy Christmas and New Year wishes for more decent cat owners in this world.
Karl and Suzanne

Hi Carol and co just to let you know that Holly has been having great fun with the younger kitten that we also inherited on xmas eve. Both are doing really well and are fun to watch, they have adapted to the house by boxing day and were at first a bit off with each other but is now proving to be more larking around than growling and hissing of the past.Although one is younger we give them both the same attention and treat them both the same, they have toys and a three tier climbing, scratch pole type thing? They seem to be enjoying every minute of each others company, we have called the small kitten fron southmead "Titch" and of course we have "Holly" that loves the attention and that she gets alright. Thanks again for the opportunity to give Holly the best in her life and along with Titch they seem well matched for each other.Keep you posted.Happy new year.

Happy 2009! Sorry it's late but here's a quick update on Julie. She stayed a 'julie' as her name seems to suit her and nobody could think of anything better (must have been a good choice)! She has settled in incredibly well. She has now had all of her jabs and even charmed the vet with her affection. Using the cat flap has been an experience because she doesn't like the noise of the electronic lock (so a run up is required). Outside she is the queen of the garden although her time in the cold weather is in short bursts. She has charmed everyone who comes to visit and whittles the hours away by sitting on any lap that she can find and staying there! We are so glad that we adopted her and we are thankful for the training that the cat rescue foster families provided. Life before Julie seems so many years ago. Thank you and we hope to keep in touch.

This is a picture of Bella, she has really settled in, but still insists on
having a walk around 25feet from the back door, sniffs around, comes back
in, and yes you have guessed it immediately uses her tray. She is very
adventurous in the garage, loves company, and has now started sitting on pa
brown's lap, she loves her Sheba cat food, especially the fishy ones. We
send new years greetings to you and a miaow from Bella

Time has flown since I adopted two of your cats and thought it about time i gave you an update on their progress.
In August I took on Muskovo and Todd (also known as Tiddles), now renamed Alfie and Murphy.
Both are very well and happy. Murphy was a very outgoing little kitten and has brought out the personality in Alfie brilliantly. He quickly went from hiding in the kitchen in the corner to running up and down the stairs with Murphy and participating together in a spot of bird watching through the patio doors. Alfie is now like a dad to Murphy which worked out extremely well.
I am so glad I took them on, its been very rewarding. Since losing my lifetime bestfriend in a cat at Christmas in 2007 I never thought I would want another, but i definately made the right decision coming to you for another friend. I think I will always adopt a cat from a rescue centre. As a way of a thankyou i am giving you another donation of £50 which will be in the post shortly.
Please find attached some pictures of my two little boys.

Thought you might like a little update on Rocky, he had his first visit to the vets this week but luckily he didn’t go on his own as his older laid back mate went with him. He still has a little bit of a cold about him but nothing that the vet said he couldn’t deal with.
He is still a bruiser and his favourite place to sleep, now I have escaped from my own bedroom! Is taking up most of the bed leaving a little room on the edges for Mum and Dad!
I love watching the fish in the big tank and they keep me entertained for hours that is obviously when the oldies have finished entertaining me.
I have seen some other cats in my new garden through the French doors and let me tell you I have let them know I am the new kid on the block (all from behind the glass – obviously)!

I am just emailing to update you on Coal, who we have now renamed Basil. When we picked him up in September and got him home we were a little worried as our other cat wasn't so keen on a newbie in his house so was hissing quite abit. Poor Basil looked abit bewildered and just came up to me for cuddles and food. Then, one afternoon when i got home from work, i found them both in the cat bed together..........love at last!. They have the odd disagreement but like to play and like cleaning each others ears!

Yes our Emily is lovely bless her. She isn't a scaredy cat now! She is an independent cat and doesn't seem to need people much, but we let her do as she pleases. She is happy and settled now. She isn't a lap cat but does enjoy being stroked. She is out and about a lot (I think this is from her farm background). When she is in she is usually in our spare bedroom on a wicker chair and doesn't socialise in the lounge with us much! In the summer she did like to hang out in the conservatory with us though, as it was all warm.
We got a kitten not long after getting Emily and introduced them slowly. The kitten is called Twinkle and when she was little she hung around with Emily and learnt things off her and Emily was quite willing. They are similar and look a little like mother and daughter. Now they don't do so much together but they don't fight either. Twinkle is always playing and they chase each other around but I think she wears Emily out! Emily is still a playful thing though in private and enjoys playing with toys, usually when we are downstairs we can hear her charging around upstairs!
She has put on quite a bit of weight, I think she has another secret house she visits when she goes out, as we don't over feed her. We enclose some photos of her when we first got her, and now and with Twinkle.

Sasha is not a total lap cat like Chloe but does love to
rear up and butt your hand and if you're sat down in the chair she loves to
rub around your face and neck and bite your ears! Chloe is a total lap cat
unless I am not sat down she will then sit with either Sash or Bezer.
Chloe loves to wash the others and my older one adores being washed he
goes all soppy. He still occasionally bops them when they are annoying
him but sometimes he only need look at them and they know. Chloe also
sleeps on the bed with me most nights and bites me if I ignore her.
Thank you so much for mentioning her when I said I would have Sash
because they are so lovely and well loved and cared for. My partner
dotes on them but cannot understand why they are more for me, I did
mention the fact that I do feed and play with them more while he is
sleeping on the sofa!!!

Willesden (Lucky) was neutered today and it made me realise how much he has grown since you brought him to us in November! He stopped using soft things as litter soon after I emailed you for advice - thanks to close supervision and a stern look or two! - and seems to have settled in well. The children love him and are so gentle with him - my son has donated one of his toys to him (a little ball type thing) as Willesden has become so attached to it: my last job before bed each night is usually retrieving it from under the fridge for him to play with overnight. He is very cuddly (on my lap as I type, of course) but is also becoming very interested in the outside world and once he is over his op and the snow has gone we will start introducing him to a whole new adventure outdoors! We also think he is very beautiful and I couldn't resist attaching a few photos.

She most certainly has got her paws everywhere! Between Christmas and New Year she got out and went for a wander - well it must have frightened her because she wont go out now!!! I have put a collar and name tag on her and received notification that she is now registered to me through the microchip - cant even give her away now!!!!
She is lovely and when I get home from work she follows me around the house and "talks" to me all the time, especially in the night! Your son was right about keeping him awake - she does to me!!!
She is partial to a bit of ham and every time I go to the fridge she thinks it is for her benefit!!!

We fell in love with Giz as soon as we saw the original photo and caption on your website and knew we had to have him. Your caption came true, now that he has put on some weight and found a loving home he is very handsome indeed. He was all skin and bone when he first arrived, he was so weak and poorly from cat flu, he had to go to the vets three times before he was strong enough to have his jabs. He's a real fighter and came through it all. We are so pleased we got him and have a sneaky feeling he is too. We have included some photos of him, he's just started using his catflap and been exploring everywhere, even the snow didn't put him off. Thanks ever so much.

I thought I would belatedly let you know how the two kittens (Oscar and
Ollie) we adopted from you back in November are getting on.
We picked them up when they were just under 10 weeks old from Margaret in
Bristol and it's fair to say that it was very much love at first sight!
They were small and fluffy and had had a difficult start in life from a
litter of 11. We kept their names as we thought they suited them down to
the ground, Ollie with his sleek mischievous looks and Oscar with his
filmstar beauty spot! We took them home to Cirencester and started off by
cordoning them off in the hall and lounge so they didn't feel overwhelmed
but they proved to be very good climbers even as wee kittens and had soon
vaulted over the makeshift barriers into the kitchen and up the stairs so
they quickly had the run of the house taking no time at all to make
themselves at home. They're now nearly 5 months old and thriving. They have
very different personalities and keep us very entertained with footballing
skills and mad tree climbing antics. Oscar is placid and affectionate and
spends a lot of time looking quizzically at life. Ollie is clever and super
fast. He can be a little fiend but just we're starting to get annoyed
having removed him from the curtains for the 5th time in an hour he turns
on the charm and has us laughing by giving us nose kisses and purring like
a tractor. We live in the countryside and they have loads of space to
explore and run with lots of trees to climb which they have been doing in
the last month or so. They seem to love life and be enthralled by
everything and anything. They have particularly enjoyed the recent snow
standing on their hind legs and catching snowflakes and burying themselves.
All in all they're growing into handsome boys and are very much a part of
our family.
Before the boys arrived we had six months without a cat after our old boy
Henry died at the grand age of 15. The arrival of these two have brought us
much needed joy. Thankyou for the opportunity to adopt our two little uns.
We love them!

Thought you might like to see that Alfie has got his appetite back and seems to be settling in well !! Do you think he is a little too chilled? He has had a busy day playing with Rocky you know!He thinks he has got a new girlfriend in Bonnie our 17 year old, she is not so sure and her hissing doesn’t seem to bother him (typical male)! Just one more set of jabs to go and then his amorousness will be sorted, although he is so laid back he probably won’t care.
Thanks again for finding a friend for Rocky although Rocky rests even less now!

Just thought I'd send you a quick note to say the kittens are settling in unbelievably well and are such little menaces, they're fab. they're either curled up together in their bed, curled up together on us or running around playing with each other like absolute loonies.
We've named them Molly (the black one) and Maisie (tortoise shell). although Molly was apparently the quiet one who wanted more cuddles she's certainly come out of her shell. They give each other a run for their money, and its Maise who craves the human interaction slightly more.

I wanted to give you a quick update on Tigger.
I picked him up a week ago and he has settled in soooooo well it’s like he has always been here. He loves his new brothers Harry, my black cat, and Mitch my German shepherd dog. Within a couple of hours of coming home he realised that snuggling up to the dog is much warmer than any bed…. (He could've told me before I spent a small fortune on a new cat basket for him… Typical) J
I have attached a few pictures of him relaxing on my bed. (These pictures were taken within 4 hours of him arriving so you can imagine how chilled he is now after a week!!!)
I will send you some further pictures once he’s had his last injection and can enjoy the spring sun.

We have had Millie a few weeks now. She was allowed out on her first
outing last Saturday - we couldn't allow her out before then as she
had been vaccinated for cat flu and her previous owner(s) had
apparently never had her vaccinated! well her previous vet had no
record of them being done.
She really is a little minx - into everything! but a lovable little
cat nevertheless.
She has settled in very well and loves to play with her toys although
she doesen't seem to know what a scratching post is!
After she has finished playing she likes to fall asleep on either mine
or Linda's lap. We really can't believe she is 14 years old.
Thank you once again for giving us the opportunity of adopting her,
I'm sure we will have many happy days with her
