Bristol And Wales Cat Rescue

Working Together To Give Cats A Second Chance

Rehoming Your Cat

Rescue centres are always full with unwanted animals and can have waiting lists of 6 weeks or more for people desperate to find new homes for their pets.

We can put you on our waiting list but in the meantime, if you are in the Bristol area, we can offer a home from home service to help you.

Just provide us with a photograph and the following details of your cat:

1. name

2. sex

3. age

4. colour

5. neutered?

6. vaccinated? (Date when booster is due!)

7. description of cat's personality

8. details of any medical conditions - please be honest as our adopters need to know what they are taking on, it's also important for the cat's wellbeing and our reputation!!

9. vet's details  - You will need to contact your vet and give BWCR permission to discuss your cat's medical history

10. your name, address & contact telephone number

11. lastly, please keep us updated!

We will post your cat on our adoption page.

If anyone is interested in adopting your cat we will homecheck them and then arrange for them to visit your cat and hopefully take it home.

This will spare your cat a stay in foster which can be very stressful and give you peace of mind knowing that its new home has been approved by us.

If you would like us to help please email your contact details and cat's profile to: bwcatrescue@hotmail.com and we will do our very best to find the perfect home. We don't charge for this service but a donation of your choice to cover costs would be most welcome! (Please see our contact page for our address.)
